Our house is a wonderfully private old Spanish farmhouse set in its own olive groves, which look onto the lake near Iznajar, and has views both up and down the valley. Enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace, sit back, admire the views and soak up the sunshine in this rustic rural haven located in the very heart of Andalucia; only 20 minutes from the ancient city of Antequera. Or, for those of you with a little more energy, float around the private pool, play boules on the private boule court, walk or cycle through the olive groves down to the lake or just have a quiet game of darts.

We are located in the very heart of Andalucía: only 20 minutes from the ancient city of Antequera; 50 minutes from Málaga airport; less than an hour from Granada and approximately 1½ hours from Seville. The house overlooks the lake at Iznajar where you can swim, sail or fish. The small town of Iznajar, 5 minutes by car, is typically Spanish (no fish & chips but we have a butcher who makes great burgers for the bar-be-cue. The entire region is a delight for exploring and you soon get the hang of siesta and tapas.
Location AccessVilla Iznájar
Iznajar is situated near the southerly border of Córdoba province, and serves as a natural entrance to the Sierra Subeticas Natural Park. From the top of the town there are tremendous views where, on a nearby hillock, the old Moorish castle frowns down on the lowly houses. Also worth visiting is the Santiago church, built over time during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
