The original building was a hunting lodge built in the 18th century and it has been extended over the years, with the majority of the building as it is today having been added in 1911. The Manor was occupied by several generations of the Hotchkin family until 1965, after which, it was mainly used for offices. The current owners acquired this historic property in April 2013 and have fully restored it to its former Edwardian glory, retaining all of the original features still present. The Manor boasts 8 beautiful and individually furnished bedroom suites with luxurious touches such as soft memory foam mattresses, blissfully snug goose down duvets and huggable fluffy full-length bathrobes. The four function rooms, dazzlingly lit with gilded chandeliers, are ideal for cosy or lavish parties with your family and friends! The kitchens have new, state-of-the-art cooking, refrigeration and dishwashing equipment, so you or your caterers will be able to prepare, store and clear away everything from a light snack to a full banquet with consummate ease. The crockery is Churchill Chateau, glassware is top-end Madison and cutlery is Viners 18/10 stainless steel bead design.
A celebration at the Manor is always a truly memorable and stylish event! From the moment you enter through the grand doorway, you'll step back in time and into a venue that simply oozes period charm, finesse and sophistication, with all the ambience of a bygone era. And with a very private and quiet English country house atmosphere, it is just perfect for large family get-togethers where you can relax in style, let your hair down and feel that you are the privileged custodian of a fabulous manor! Stay for 3 nights, for a week or even a month....however short or long your stay, you'll simply adore this romantic oasis of calm tucked away in leafy Lincolnshire.
This manor is definitely a stylish, secret escape! It is also the perfect romantic retreat!
