The Villa is great for a family vacation, for an absolutely relaxation period in a real quite and still unspoiled country, and although being in a rural area is a perfect base to visit Rome, (45 minutes by car,) and all the most interesting places of Latium (Viterbo, Assisi) Umbria (Orvieto) and Toscany (Siena Arezzo) all reachable in one day excursion. The Lazio regionLatium is the birthplace of the antique Etruscan civilization and afterwards of the great Roman Empire.It is a blend of different cultures that followed one to another and that can be discovered all over the region: Tarquinia with the Etruscan tombs and the National Etruscan Musem, Tivoli with the gorgeous Villa of Emperor Adriano, Viterbo the Pope town and excellent example of medieval architecture. Rome of course gathers all the different historical periods in the highest artistic expression. The climate is mild and allows to enjoy the different seasons in the best way.
