Description of the project, the houses are of type T2 (with capacity for 3 people or 4 people), namely: the House of Isabel: 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with single bed, toilet, living room with sofa bed and TV, kitchen with stove, fridge, washing machine and other small appliances. This House was for many years the residence of my family, especially my grandfather, its constructor and my parents. It was the safe haven after strenuous hours of the working day and a meeting point of our meals and family conversations, and still the scene of many long cold winter nights, or in the warm and lively evenings of the summer. This House can provide you an excellent view over the Bay of streams, where the silence of this quiet place will help you rest or recuperate and still enjoy all the elements of nature.

The Pico Island is the second largest island of the Azores archipelago in the North Atlantic. It is 8.3 kilometre from Faial island and 15 km from the island of São Jorge. It has an area of 447 km2; a shore with 151.84 km in length, a number of 31 islets big and small. It has a resident population of 14806 inhabitants (in 2001). Measures 42 km long and 20 km wide, owes its name to a majestic volcanic mountain, Mount Pico, which culminates in a pronounced peak, the Pico Pequeno or little peak. This is the highest mountain of Portugal and the third highest mountain that emerges from the Atlantic, reaching 2351 meters above sea level. Administratively, the island is composed of three municipalities: Lajes do Pico and Magdalene, both with six parishes, and São Roque do Pico, with five parishes.
