Cornwall, on the south west tip of England, has something for everyone. The long coastline boasts rugged cliffs, sandy beaches and quiet coves, attracting walkers, wild-life enthusiasts, surfers and sun worshippers alike. With desolate moors, sheltered valleys and wooded glades the natural environment is never far away. Steeped in history there is always plenty to see and do - The Minack Theatre, Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, St Michael's Mount are just a few of the reasons to visit this beautiful part of England. Polperro, on the south-east coast, is reknowned for its coastal walks, quaint cottages and historic harbour. With local fishermen providing both pleasure and fishing trips, safe beaches nearby, a choice of restaurants and pubs with real fires and real ale, a week long music festival in June and fantastic firework display over Peak rock in November, Polperro is a great place for a holiday any time of year.

Polperro is a traditional fishing village and has narrow streets and alleys, leaving many properties without vehicular access. Lucy's, however, does have the luxury of being able to get a vehicle to for loading/unloading
