Borgo Tranquiitta is surrounded by wooded hills of olives and bucolic charm that surround it like its own garden immersing the village in beautiful countryside. The vistas are phenomenal. Most guests here are families enjoying the large pool, the olive grove gardens and the country life (although Wifi and TV are always an option...) There are three, lovely detached cottages lovingly restored. Each has one or two private terraces for ’al fresco’ dining. The Borgo has a large crystal swimming pool which has been idyllically positioned for the splendid views. Although the houses have central heating, each has a large open fireplace welcoming early and late season visitors. Castiglion Fiorentino is about 7kms. which is midway between the historic towns of Arezzo and Cortona. Lake Trasimeno with its pretty beaches is within easy driving distance. From here you can relax, unwind and enjoy the lovely scenery - or, there are day excursions to Cortona, Arezzo, Montepulcinao, Pienza, Assisi and more. Wine is a famous Tuscan export and you can use some of your time here to explore the many vineyards or go on a wine tour (In English, French, Danish, German) and enjoy some of the superior wines Tuscany has to offer.
