Facing South, the natural light gets inside throughout the day, with temperatures ranging around 19° C throughout the year. The caves are accessed from the street through a large courtyard with gardens and trees full of places from where to enjoy tranquil and unmatched views. The living/dining room, illuminated by natural light from a circular skylight and the gateway, has television, DVD, electric heating and wood-burning fireplace. The independent kitchen, is equipped with all comforts: dishwasher, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, juicer, Blender, etc. With three bedrooms, two of them with two beds and the other with a double bed of special width, have closets, sheets, blankets and a set of towels per person. In few places on our planet we can enjoy this unusual type of housing, excavated in clay of great resistance, proof of this is the legacy of almoravides caves from the 11th century that even today remain intact.

Gorafe is 45 minutes from Granada. You can visit the Alhambra (on the first website you have more information), the historical center and the Arab quarter of the Albaicín. Also the Science Park, very interesting interactive museum, where there are workshops even about flight of birds of prey. Or you can go to a flamenco show at night. The village has many cave houses bequeathed by the Almohad town of Los Algarves, of the 12th century. Currently a part of the population lives in caves that have been equipped with all modern conveniences. And above all there are views and incredible mountains. You should visit the thematic Museum in Gorafe on megalith, of recent construction. Another attraction of this small town are its 198 Neolithic dolmens scattered in 10 necropolis, which makes it the highest concentration of prehistoric mounds of Spain. Walk along the paths of the various marked routes to visit the different concentrations of very well preserved dolmens (at the cave there are maps to visit them). Consider visiting the unusual Gorafe desert. 5 minute drive is the Spa of Alicún de las Torres where there is a thermal swimming pool and opposite a natural wall of a stunning limestone formation formed by the water. A 20-minute drive by motorway is Guadix, village with a great cathedral.
