The second municipality of the Aosta Valley for inhabitants, Saint Vincent enjoys an enviable position and a mild climate thanks to Mount Zerbion that shelters it from the northerly winds, frequented since the nineteenth century for the thermal waters of healing properties. In Saint Vincent you come first for the spa and for the casino. But it's also a pleasant place to stay, thanks to a respectable monumental heritage and location, strategic to visit the central and eastern part of the region, from castles to Val d'Ayas, from Valtournenche to Mont Avic Park. You can also ski in the small area of the Joux Hill. What to seeIn the old town of Saint-Vincent is certainly worth a visit to the church dedicated to St. Vincent, dating back to the 11th century, with the imposing bell tower. The Romanesque style has been preserved despite many interventions in the following centuries. Inside you can admire the frescoes of the fifteenth century and the wooden statues preserved in the parish museum. The spas and casinoSaint-Vincent has been frequented as a spa resort since the nineteenth century when it also welcomed famous people such as Joshua Carducci and Silvio Pellico. Its waters, discovered by Jean-Baptiste Perret, in 1770 have beneficial effects for the skin and healing properties for liver, stomach and bowel disorders.

Located in a wind-sheltered cove, with a particularly mild climate, Saint-Vincent (575m above sea level) has been dubbed 'the Riviera of the Alps' and is one of the best-known resorts in the Aosta Valley thanks to the Casino de la Vallée, one of the homes to be Europe's most famous and great game. The tourist development of the town is linked to the discovery in 1770, by a naturalist abbot, of Fons Salutis, a source of water whose therapeutic virtues made it famous and appreciated. Among the guests of the Baths are famous figures such as Joshua Carducci and Silvio Pellico, as well as the most prominent aristocracy of the time. In addition to the archaeological evidence of the pre-Roman era, the Romanesque church of St. Vincent, built by benedictine friars in the 11th century, with the museum of sacred art, where rare and precious objects are found. Notable is the congressional activity orbiting the modern and equipped convention center; to mention the ''Saint-Vincent Prize'' for journalism, which brings together the most beautiful names of print and television journalism. For skiers, a few kilometres from Saint-Vincent, at 1,640 metres away, is the Col de Joux ski resort, straddling the Val d'Ayas and the central Dora valley. With about 7 km of downhill slopes, the Col de a stazi is a small winter resort, ideal for those who want to ski.
