The accommodation is located on the ancient Via Flaminia, built by the Romans to connect their city in Rimini. The accommodation is therefore located in the heart of a territory from which it is possible to reach the most beautiful and important cities of Umbria like Assisi, Perugia, Spoleto. Just 400 metres away, the famous sources of the Clitumnus, genuine naturalistic jewel of this territory, on which grow poplars, willows and rare species. Sources attract thousands of tourists each year and in the past, they have also attracted famous poets, including Pliny the younger, Lord Byron (the pilgrimage of Childe Harold) and Giosuè Carducci who dedicated them an ode to the sources of the Clitumnus. Just 800 metres lies the temple dedicated to the God Clitumnus, who since June 25, 2011, is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage. The old nucleus of the current municipality is located in the hamlet of Campello Alto, a castle built in 921 by Rovero of Champeaux, Baron de Bourgogne, on top of a hill. This would result in the family of the counts Campello and the name of the city. 30 km from the accommodation is Assisi, the city of Saint-François.
